Called "Punch-out 4.0", this solution automatically upgrades the level 1 punch-out catalogs to Level 2, allowing you to enjoy the combined advantages of the catalogs hosted in the e-procurement solution and those of the classic punch-out. The operation, including updates of index data, avoids any manipulation on the part of the supplier, knowing that changes (inflations on tariffs, new items, etc.) can be transparent to the buyer or subject to its validation.
The Level 2 punch-out allows prescribers to search directly for items in their company's digital solution without having to make the connection between the need and a given supplier. They can also make comparisons between several items from different catalogs, directly access up-to-date rates, or even stock levels if this information is available on the supplier's e-commerce site. The Punch-out 4.0 solution is available free of charge to companies SAP Ariba beta-testing for 3 months and for 5 punch-out catalogs.
