After the successful stabilization of its SAP Ariba platform, following a longer and more complicated start-up than expected with another provider, Burger King Quick Services has just renewed its confidence in Acxias by entrusting it with its Corrective and scalable TMA. For the fast food company, which has included the two brands since Burger King France acquired the Quick chain at the end of 2015, the digitalisation of indirect purchases had become strategic to bring expenses under control, with the aim of harmonizing and securing the process to optimize performance, particularly at the income statement level. The implementation of Ariba on the Procure-to-pay perimeter (Buying and Invoicing modules) from March 2018, with a start-up in mid-2019 for the head office and three months later for restaurants, excluding franchisees, has improved the ordering process, with a reduction in wild purchases and paper documents exchanged.
