The difficult collection of supplier data
In a recent survey of 100 finance, procurement and accounting executives by SharedServicelink and Tradeshift, nearly half (45%) of buyers interested in co-innovating with their suppliers admit that they have no data for a third of their panel. In addition, those who have tried to automate the collection of information through a collaborative portal would encounter difficulties in affiliating their suppliers and getting them to interact through the device. The latter would perceive the proposal as a constraint, costly in time and without added value at their level.
