Because of its key role in the performance of the tools and the relevance of the results obtained, the quality of the evidence has become a major issue in the Purchases, with considerable room for improvement. More than two-thirds of the participants in the survey conducted at the end of February by Acxias, on the social networks, believe that the information available to buyers is "to be checked before operation" (58.5%) or even "unusable and to be reworked" (12.5%). Only a quarter of respondents (25%) consider them "of sufficient quality" and, more worryingly, only 4% "reliable and up-to-date". In addition to dedicated governance, a growing number of companies are implementing tools and methods to consolidate, clean, structure and enrich their foundations. In purchasing, this concerns the data on the products and services referenced, as well as the associated expenses, but also, more often, those relating to Suppliers, still frequently incomplete or inaccurate.
