On the occasion of the launch of its Sapphire Now lecture series in June, the publisher announced the creation of SAP Business Network, the "world's largest network of companies" that will bring together Ariba Network, SAP Logistics Business Network, and SAP Asset Intelligence Network. Exceeding the 5.5 million organizations referenced, this "connected community" will allow principals to access a single, unified portal offering an overview of the ecosystem of their purchasing, supply and accounting chain, and to exchange related documents with their business partners. In parallel, SAP announced transformation packs Rise with SAP, the offer to migrate its customers to the cloud, launched last January. These packages target the retail, consumer products, automotive, utilities, and industrial machinery and components sectors.
