Just a few weeks after the opening of his subsidiary in China (艾柯夏), Acxias has just landed its first local customer, JW Therapeutics. A joint venture created by Juno Therapeutics and WuXi, this pharmaceutical company specializing in cancer treatments needed an expert provider in digitalization of purchases to accompany it in the implementation and the Deployment de SAP Ariba, alongside the replacement of its JD Edwards ERP (Peoplesoft) with S/4Hana. The project, initially limited to purchases of building materials and those used in the laboratory, focuses on modules Ariba Buying and Sourcing, and more specifically on the provision of Guided Buying features that will allow the 300 target users to access a set of catalogs and forms (request for purchase, quotes, etc.). Initiated in 2020, with the choice of solutions at the end of the year, the Ariba-S/4Hana integration project and the migration to the new system is due to be completed in September 2021. Acxias, whose local team is expected to grow rapidly, expects to sign new customers in the Chinese market in the coming months, with the ambition of achieving 20-30% of its turnover by 2022.
