Declining forecast for software

After the 5.3% increase expected for 2018, for a total turnover of 12.4 billion euros, the French software publishing market should decline slightly in 2019, according to Syntec's latest half-yearly observatory digital. For the software and services sector as a whole, growth is supported by digital transformation projects, in particular Smacs (Social, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud, Security), which should grow by 14.7% in 2019, after the +15.4% from 2018, and reach 28.5% of the market. In software publishing, the development of the SaaS model and the marketing of new software offerings are other growth drivers.
